Ofer's professional background includes serving as the Chief Operating Officer for The Learning Nest, a South Florida-based family-owned school network. During his tenure, he has managed school operations, facilitated a school acquisition and concurrently managed the development of a $21M+ residential condominium project in Miami. Prior to this, he garnered experience as a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Co.

 

Born and raised in Venezuela, Ofer moved to the United States for his undergraduate and graduate studies in Civil Engineering. His educational foundation consists of a BS and MS from the University of Miami, complemented by an MBA from Harvard Business School in 2023.

 

Currently, Ofer has returned to Miami and partnered with Raymundo del Castillo and The Learning Nest to establish WainCas Capital. His primary focus revolves around expanding the The Learning Nest network through well-considered strategies, encompassing new school openings and acquisitions.

Raymundo joined The Learning Nest in 2011 and has since served as its main operating partner and Chief Executive Officer. He has grown The Lerning Nest to four facilities via school openings and acquisitions in both Miami Dade and Broward Counties.

With prior experience in consumer products at Procter & Gamble Mexico and successful entrepreneurship in commercial printing, Raymundo's proficiency is broad. A finance degree from the Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey further enhances his capabilities. Notably, while managing TLN Schools he simultaneously directed a substantial $21M+ residential condominium development project in Miami that was finished in 2020, showcasing his versatility.

Aligned with The Learning Nest, Raymundo co-founded WainCas Capital with Ofer Wainberg after his return to Miami to expand their school network. WainCas Capital will pursue growth of The Learning Nest through strategic initiatives involving new school openings and acquisitions.
